About the Publication
Guidelines
The JOURNAL OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMERCE AND POLICY(JOEDCAP) invites high-quality, original research contributions from scholars, practitioners, and professionals in the fields of economics, development studies, commerce, public policy, and related disciplines. Authors must ensure that all submissions are original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Any form of plagiarism, data fabrication, or unethical research practice will lead to immediate rejection.
Manuscripts should be prepared strictly according to the American Psychological Association (APA) style guidelines (7th Edition). This includes formatting of in-text citations, reference lists, tables, figures, headings, and overall manuscript structure. Authors are encouraged to maintain clarity, coherence, and academic rigor throughout the paper. The manuscript should generally include an abstract (150–250 words), keywords, introduction, literature review, methodology, results, discussion, conclusion, and references, unless the nature of the work requires otherwise.
All submissions follow a double-blind peer review process. To maintain anonymity, authors must remove any identifying information from the manuscript file. Each manuscript will be evaluated by at least two independent reviewers based on relevance, originality, methodological soundness, theoretical contribution, clarity of presentation, and adherence to journal standards. The review process typically takes 4–8 weeks, depending on reviewer availability and the complexity of the submission.
Authors may be asked to revise and resubmit their manuscripts based on reviewer comments. Revised papers must include a detailed response to reviewers explaining how each comment has been addressed. Acceptance of a manuscript is contingent upon satisfactory revisions and editorial approval.
For complete submission instructions, including file format, word limits, publication charges (if applicable), and copyright procedures, authors are requested to contact the Editorial Office or visit the official journal communication channel.
